“He takes our letters.”

“What letters?” Priya asked.
“The ones home.”
Trent’s head snapped toward him.
Mason’s voice shook.
“He reads them first.”
The director stared at Trent.
“You do what?”
“He’s confused.”
Mason reached into his pocket.

“I wrote this yesterday.”
He handed it to Priya.
